The V&A - Sijia Chen
Multimedia artist Sijia Chen was taught the intricate skill of Chinese paper-cutting (Jianzhi) by her father, a master of the art. Traditionally used to decorate windows and doors in China, Chen blends paper-cut with collage and painting to produce her own take on the ancient art form.
