The last working paper mill left in the UK, Two Rivers tells the story of the disappearing craft of handmade paper. Run by Jim Patterson with his 40 year experience in making handmade paper, our film is a dialogue about where craftsmanship ends and art starts.

The film follows one day inside the paper mill. We embraced the griminess of the confined space by shooting on old anamorphic lenses. The wide format allowed us to contrast the confined space we were shooting in whilst enhancing the textures of the mill.
